We-Shakti is the women and community empowerment vertical of We-Shakti Trust, dedicated to fostering sustainable livelihoods, financial independence, and dignity for women. Through skill-training, capacity building, enterprise support, and institutional partnerships, We-Shakti strengthens self-help groups and community networks to ensure empowerment is practical, inclusive, and sustainable.
Aligned with SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), We-Shakti advances gender equality by turning skills, access, and participation into dignified, sustainable livelihoods for women and communities.
Aligned with Lakhpati Didi and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiatives, we strengthen women’s livelihoods while promoting equality and education for the girl child.
