E-Gurukul Fellowship Training Programme

The E-Gurukul Fellowship Training Programme was organised in Alwar for selected local facilitators. 21 fellows participated in a three-day programme designed to prepare them for on-ground implementation of E-Gurukul centres. The training included free sessions on library management, digital classroom facilitation, reporting systems, leadership, and community engagement, along with structured learning materials and mentoring support. The programme concluded with the formal induction of fellows to begin their community-based education work.

The evening featured a cultural performance by Padma Shri awardee Shri Gafruddin Mewati Jogi Ji, celebrating the rich folk music tradition of the bhapang from the Mewat region, and marked a moment of collective reflection on the journey of the marathon and its growing movement for fitness and conservation.

The event was graced by Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma Ji, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Rajasthan; Shri Bhupender Yadav Ji, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister and Lok Sabha MP, Alwar; Smt. Diya Kumari Ji, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Rajasthan; and Shri Sanjay Sharma Ji, Hon’ble Minister, Rajasthan and MLA, Alwar City. The marathon witnessed large-scale public participation and community engagement, reinforcing the integration of fitness, wildlife conservation, and environmental responsibility. Shri Randeep Hooda joined the initiative as Brand Ambassador, inspiring runners to support the cause of tiger and forest conservation.

The programme featured student participation, and conservation-focused presentations, formally announcing the countdown to the 2026 marathon and reinforcing the shared commitment to tiger conservation and forest preservation.

Participants ran across designated routes through the city. The event was graced by Shri Mansukh Mandaviya Ji, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, along with Shri Bhupender Yadav Ji, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister and Lok Sabha MP, Alwar, marking the official commencement of the new sports season.

ASK-U Summer Sports Camps

The ASK-U Summer Sports Camps were organised at Lords University, Chikani, Alwar for selected young athletes, with camps held from 1–10 June for boys and 11–20 June for girls. The camps were graced by Shri Pullela Gopichand, Smt. Babita Phogat, and Smt. Smriti Irani, who interacted with athletes and addressed participants during the training sessions. The camps were conducted by certified coaches from the Sports Authority of India, focusing on skill development and structured training.

On 6 February, the cricket finals were attended by Smt. Raksha Khadse Ji, Hon’ble Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, GO. On 7 February, the remaining championship matches and closing events were attended by Shri Bhupender Yadav Ji, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister and Lok Sabha MP, Alwar.

Students and community members were provided free access to digital learning content along with books and learning devices. A painting competition for students was also organised as part of the launch activities.

Free health check-ups were conducted by doctors from AIIMS, and women entrepreneurs participated in skilling and training sessions conducted by the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) focusing on marketing, product positioning, financial literacy, and awareness of government schemes.

SHG and women-led enterprises showcased their products, while free health check-ups for women and children were conducted. Product development activities focused on bajra-based food items and sambrani cups, and the cultural programme included traditional competitions such as the Matka Race and Dahi Handi.
