The inaugural We-Shakti Janmashtami Mela was organised in Behror, Alwar, and was inaugurated by Smt. Annapurna Devi, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister for Women and Child Development. The mela featured 13 stalls representing all blocks of the district and brought together 3,500+ women. SHG and women-led enterprises showcased their products, while free health check-ups for women and children were conducted. Product development activities focused on bajra-based food items and sambrani cups, and the cultural programme included traditional competitions such as the Matka Race and Dahi Handi.
