The E-Gurukul initiative was launched in Alwar City in the presence of the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur Ji, and Shri Bhupender Yadav Ji, Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister and Lok Sabha MP, Alwar. On this occasion, the Swami Vivekananda E-Gurukul was formally inaugurated and the first Gyaan Vahan (Library-on-Wheels) was introduced under the E-Gurukul programme. Students and community members were provided free access to digital learning content along with books and learning devices. A painting competition for students was also organised as part of the launch activities.
